Pairing Your Socket Scanner S740

To get started, pair your socket scanner with your mobile device by following these steps:

1. Pair the Socket Scanner to Your Mobile Device

• Download the Socket Scanner Mobile App:
  Download the mobile app on your device and follow the pairing instructions provided within the app.
• Note: The pairing process can be finicky, so be patient and follow the prompts carefully.
• Once paired, your scanner should automatically switch to “APP MODE”.

2. Configure Scanner Settings in SimpleTix

After pairing your scanner and phone:

• Open the SimpleTix app on your mobile device.
• Navigate to Settings.
• Under the Scanner section, select “Socket Scan”.

3. Start Scanning Tickets

• Navigate to the Admit tab in the SimpleTix app.
• You have two options for scanning:
  • Use Scan Anything mode.
  • Or, select an event and tap the QR code icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Finally, point your socket scanner at the barcode or QR code on the ticket. Once the code is read, your scanner is fully set up to scan with SimpleTix.
