SimpleTix supports printing tickets using the following printer models:

  • Boca Lemur C/S
  • Star TSP printer
  • Star MC-Print 3 printer

Note: SimpleTix currently supports Bluetooth / USB only for ticket printing.

Printer Connection Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your printer to your device (bluetooth/USB/Lightning):

  1. Follow the Printer’s Instructions:
    Refer to your printer’s manual for connecting to your device via Bluetooth, USB, or Lightning. This part is handled by your printer and is not managed by SimpleTix.

  2. In the SimpleTix App:

    • Click the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top left.
    • Select Settings from the menu.
    • Choose the appropriate printer and the type of connection (Bluetooth, USB, or Lightning) as supported by your device.
  3. Printing Your Tickets:

    • When you place an order or view an existing order in the app, you will see a printer icon in the top right corner.
    • Tap the printer icon to print your tickets.
If you are using a cash drawer, the signal to open the cash drawer at the end of the transaction will need to come from a printer. The SimpleTix organizer app cannot directly trigger a cash drawer to open

Make sure your printer is properly connected and paired before attempting to print from the app. If you experience issues, verify your printer’s manual for troubleshooting Bluetooth or connection settings.
