Accessing Attendee Management

  1. Log in to Manager Portal:
    Click Events, select the event you’re managing, then choose Attendee List from the left-hand menu.

Viewing and Managing Uploaded Photos

  • Within Attendee Management, you’ll see a list of your attendees. If an attendee has uploaded a photo, it will appear next to their name and ticket/order information.
  • To update or remove an attendee’s photo, click on the photo. Two options will appear:
    • Upload a new photo: Replace the existing image.
    • Reject the existing photo: Use this option if the photo is blurry, unclear (e.g., not a proper headshot), or does not meet your event’s guidelines. When you reject a photo, SimpleTix sends the attendee an email with a link to re-upload a photo. Note that rejection does not affect the ticket’s validity.

Sending Photo Upload Reminders

Individual Reminder

  • In Attendee Management:
    • Use the search function to find the attendee by name.
    • Locate their entry — look for the Send Reminder button (typically near their photo or within their attendee card).
    • Click the button to send a reminder email to that individual.

Bulk Reminder

  • In Attendee Management:
    • Click on the Options menu.
    • Select Selfie/Photo Upload Reminder.
    • A form will appear where you can enter your custom email subject and message. SimpleTix automatically inserts the unique upload link for each attendee in the email.

Additional Notes

  • The same process applies if the functionality is used for other verification purposes (such as uploading student IDs or vaccination cards). Just clarify which type of photo is required per your event policies.
  • There is no conflict with ticket validity — rejecting a photo is solely to ensure image quality and consistency.
  • This guide is focused solely on managing attendee photos and sending reminders for photo uploads.
