How to Create a Reserved Seating Event

To create a reserved seating event:

1. Go to www.simpletix.com

2. Click on Create Your Event.

3. If you already have an existing account, click Sign In instead.

4. Click on Create Event.

5. Click on Event Name and enter the name you want your event to be called.

6. Select your Event Type.

7. Choose your Event Category.

8. Select the matching Sub-Category.

9. Set a Venue for your event. If you have an existing venue, choose one from the list.

10. If you haven't created a venue yet or you're adding a new one, click New Venue.

11. Type in the Name of your venue.

12. Type in the Address for your venue.

13. Click on Save.

14. Add a description for your event.

15. Upload a cover photo or choose one from our library.

16. Select your Event Type.

  • A Reserved Seating event is required to be set as either a One-Time or a Multipe Dates/Time event. It cannot be set as a Flex-Pass Event

17. Set the Start Date and Time as well as the End Date and Time for your event.

18. Set Reserved Seating to Yes.

19. Click on Next.

20. Under Category Name, type in the label for your ticket tiers.

21. Add in the Price.

22. Set the Fee.

  • Using the recommended fee will pass on the SimpleTix and Payment portal fee to the buyer. The buyer will see an additional charge on top of the ticket price.

  • Setting the fee to zero will deduct the fees from the ticket price.
    This may vary depending on your location or type of payment.

23. You can further customize your ticket tiers by changing the seat color and by adding Sub-prices.

24. Set the dates for when you'd like your ticket sales to go live.

25. Click on Next.

27. Once done, Click Create My Event.
