Overview
In Reserved Seating events, you can tailor how your seating chart looks to customers and control what appears on their eTickets. This article covers:- Organization Name Visibility
- Seat Labels (row/seat numbers)
- Marking Accessible (ADA) Seats
- eTicket Display (section names, etc.)
Accessing the Seating Chart Settings
- Log in to Manager Portal.
- Go to Settings → Seating Chart, or visit
https://manager.simpletix.com/general/seating-chart. - All display-related toggles (organization name, seat labels, etc.) are on this page.
Seating Chart Customizations
Displaying or Hiding Your Organization Name
- Toggle the Organization Name switch to show/hide it on your seating chart.
- Save your changes.
Seat Labels
- Display Seat Labels controls whether row/seat numbers appear on the chart.
- For some reserved seating layouts, seat numbers may display by default.
- If toggling doesn’t behave as expected, confirm your event type and venue settings are correct.
Marking Accessible (ADA) Seats
- In the Seating Chart (Venues > Edit Seating), click on seats using the Seating Selector (second option on the left-hand rail) to designate them as wheelchair-accessible.
- Look for an accessibility or wheelchair icon to mark these seats.
- If desired, add companion seating near each accessible seat.
eTicket Display Options
- Navigate to the Seating Chart page.
- Display the section name on the eticket?: Toggle on/off to show or hide the section name on printed/emailed etickets.
- Save to apply changes.
Include the Reserved-Seat Category in Ticket Titles
In Manager Portal, go to Settings > Seating Chart and turn on Display the category name on the eticket? when buyers and staff need the seating category shown with the section, row, and seat. Account Owners and Admins can save this setting. When enabled, the category appears in reserved-seat item titles on:- Checkout and order confirmation
- Mobile and emailed eTickets
- Printed and downloaded PDF tickets
This setting controls checkout and ticket titles. It does not add a Category column to the Attendee List export.
- Hiding section names for simpler layouts.
- Showing precise seat details (Row/Seat or Section/Row/Seat) for clarity.
