Overview
SimpleTix lets you make basic changes to your event pages without coding. These include:- Sitewide Label Changes: Adjust global text strings such as “Sold Out” or “Register Now.”
- Event-Specific Edits: Customize the “Buy Tickets” button text or toggle price displays for a single event.
Note: This guide focuses on text labels and basic toggles. For visual design (fonts, colors, CSS), see our Advanced CSS Customizations.
Sitewide Label Customizations
Editing Recurring Labels (e.g., “Sold Out”)
- Log in to Manager Portal.
- Go to Settings → Edit Labels.
- Use the search bar to find the label text you want to change (e.g., “Sold Out”).
- Click Edit and enter your new text.
- Click Update to save.
- In the top-right corner, click Re-Publish Site.
- Change “Sold Out” to “Tickets Unavailable” sitewide.
- Adjust “Buy Tickets” (globally) to “Purchase Now.”
Caching Note: Your changes may take a few minutes to appear. If needed, test in an incognito window or clear your browser cache.
Event-Specific Customizations
If you’d rather only update text or settings for one event (rather than every event on your site):Changing the “Buy Tickets” Button
- Log In to Manager Portal.
- Go to Events, then select the specific event.
- Under Event Details (or a similar section):
- Look for Buy Tickets Button Label.
- Enter your custom text (e.g., “Reserve Your Spot,” “Join Us,” etc.).
- Click Save.
Tip: This override applies only to that event. All other events use the default or sitewide label.
Showing or Hiding Price Range
Many organizers prefer to display a price range on their event listing (e.g., “40”). However, you can toggle this off if you’d rather show a single price or hide pricing until checkout:- Within the Events → [Selected Event] → Event Details area:
- Locate an option like Display Price Range on Event Page (wording may vary).
- Toggle it on (to show lowest to highest ticket price) or off (to hide).
- Save your changes.
