Group Admit in SimpleTix Organizer
Below is a refined explanation addressing group admit for the SimpleTix Organizer app. Note that the group admit feature is available only on the SimpleTix Organizer app – not on the SimpleTix Easy Entry app – and is designed for General Admission events (Flex Pass events require manual check-in).
1. Enabling Group Admit
- Log in to your SimpleTix account at https://manager.simpletix.com/.
- Navigate to Advanced Options by either:
- Directly visiting https://manager.simpletix.com/general/advanced-options, or
- Clicking Settings on the top rail and then selecting Advanced Options from the left panel.
- Toggle the Group Admit setting to “on.”
2. Using Group Admit During Check-In
- When a large group or family with multiple tickets arrives, scanning one of the QR codes in the order will prompt a choice:
- Admit All Button – Use this button when everyone in the party is present. Tapping this will quickly mark every ticket in the order as admitted. Once processed, each ticket visually changes — the button becomes green and displays “Admitted.”
- View All Option – Use this when only part of the group is present. This option displays individual tickets in the order. You can then swipe right on the specific tickets you want to admit one at a time.
3. Handling Partial Groups & Order Lookup
- If only part of the group is present, use View All to admit only the available tickets.
- If not all group members have arrived or the order tickets aren’t immediately available, you can look up an order by name in the app:
- Click Admit on the top rail of the app
- Select your event
- Search by Attendee Name, Buyer Name, Order Number, or Last 4 Digits of the Credit Card
