How to Set Up BCC Email Notifications for Each Ticket Sale

SimpleTix offers a BCC order confirmation feature so you can receive an email notification every time a ticket is sold. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Steps for Setting Up BCC Email Notifications

  1. Sign in to Manager Portal.
  2. Go to your Store settings by navigating to:
    https://manager.simpletix.com/general/store
(Alternatively, navigate via Settings > Store in your dashboard.)
  3. Find the field labeled “BCC order confirmation to another email.”
  4. Enter the email address where you wish to receive notifications.
  5. Scroll to the top of the page and click “Save.”

Note: Only one email address can be set up for this BCC notification. If you need more than one recipient, consider the options below.

Options for Multiple Email Recipients

Option A: Use Automatic Forwarding

  • Set up an automatic forwarding rule in the inbox that receives the notification.
  • Gmail users: Configure forwarding in the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” section in Settings.
(For detailed help, search for “Gmail automatic forwarding setup” or visit Google’s support page.)
  • Outlook users: Go to File > Manage Rules & Alerts and create a new rule to forward messages.
(See Microsoft’s support site for step-by-step instructions.)

Option B: Create a Shared Email or Distribution List

  • Consider using a shared email account or a distribution list to manage high notification volumes.
  • This method helps keep your primary inbox uncluttered while providing team-wide access to notifications.

Option C: Explore Integration Options

  • For advanced workflows (e.g., splitting notifications by event type), consider using custom webhooks or a Zapier integration.

  • Although not a built-in feature, these methods can automatically route notifications based on set criteria.

  • Refer to our integration documentation for the latest on webhook and Zapier configurations.

  • Real-Time Notifications:
The order confirmation email (including ticket sale details) is sent immediately after the sale is processed. Minor processing or email-delivery delays may occur.

In Summary

To receive an email for every ticket sale, use our BCC order confirmation feature. For multiple recipients, set up an automatic forwarding rule or use a shared email/distribution list. For advanced notification routing, explore webhook or Zapier integrations. Note that notifications are sent immediately after processing, though minor delays can occur.
