SimpleTix allows you to add a custom image that appears when the link for your event is shared.

This image can be different from what appears on the event page itself.

To edit your shared event link thumbnail on Facebook:

1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Click on the search bar and type your event name to locate it.

4. Once you see it, click on the event to open it.

5. On the left panel, click Social.

6. Once within Social, you'll see the current thumbnail. This defaults to your event's cover image.

Click Remove Photo to allow replacing the thumbnail.

7. Once removed upload your new preferred image.

8. After uploading, click Save on the top right to apply your changes.

9. To make sure that your new image shows when sharing the event link, go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

• Once there, paste your event URL. For steps on how to retrieve your event URL, click here.

10. Once you have your URL copied over, click Debug.

11. You will now see a preview of which image appears when your link is shared.

12. If the image you see does not match what you uploaded as your Facebook image, Click Scrape Again.

• This will force Facebook to fetch details of your new image.
• You should now be able to share your event with your preferred thumbnail.
