How to Share an Event Link with a Promo Code Applied

SimpleTix allows you to easily share your event page links with a promo code immediately activated.

This lets your attendees avoid the hassle of having to manually type a code and proceed with a discounted purchase seamlessly.

You can also use these codes to track where a purchase originated from.

1. You will first need to create a promo code. 

• If you haven't created one yet, click here for steps on how to do so - How to Create a Single Promo Code

2. After creating your promo code, go to https://manager.simpletix.com 

• Once logged in, from the top menu, click on Events.

3. Use the search bar to locate your event.

4. Click on the event to open it.

5. Within the event, on the left panel, click on Promo Code

• This will bring up the list containing all the promo codes applicable to your selected event.

6. Click on the code that you'd like to share a link for.

7. You'll now see the code link and a history of uses for the code.

• Click Copy URL to get a copy of the link.

8. You'll get a confirmation that the link has been copied to your keyboard.

• You can now paste the link for sharing on your social media or messages to your attendees.

9. When the link is clicked on, the attendees will see the code automatically applied during checkout.
