General Admission - How to Create a Buy One Get One Bundle

Elevate your attendee's purchase experience with a buy one get one discounted bundle.

SimpleTix allows you to easily create this kind of promotion and even set it as a limited-time offer.




To create a buy one get one bundle:


1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

4. Once you see your event, click on it to edit.

5. Within the event page, on the left panel, click Times & Tickets.

6. Click on the event time that you'd like to edit.

  • If you only have one event time for the event, it'll automatically open.

7. Once inside the event time, scroll down to add the new Buy One Get One ticket type.

  • Type your preferred ticket name into the text field shown below.

8. Put in the equivalent price of each ticket with the discount applied.

  • For example, for a $10 regular-priced ticket, a buy one get one ticket will be equivalent to 50% off per ticket making the sale price $5 a ticket.

9. Click on Settings next to the ticket price to specify the promo limitations.

10. Optional: You can add a descriptor to the promo such as "Buy 2 tickets at the price of one!"

11. Scroll down to the Minimum Tickets per Order field.

For this example, since the promo price requires 2 tickets, set the minimum to 2.

12. To prevent non-paired tickets from availing of the discount, set the Maximum Tickets per Order as 2.

  • If you'd like to allow your attendees to purchase more than one bundle, you can create additional ticket types with minimum and maximum limits increased by multiples of 2.

13. Once done, scroll up and click Save on the top right to finalize your changes.

  • If you'd like the promotion to be a limited-time offer you can do so by following these steps.
