Viewing Event Metrics in SimpleTix
Learn how to access and interpret event metrics on the SimpleTix Dashboard, including ticket sales and page views.
Step-by-Step Instructions to View Event Metrics
- Navigate to Manager Portal
- In the top navigation bar, click on the Events tab.
- From the event list, select the specific event you want to review.
- Once inside your event’s details, click on Dashboard in the left-side menu.
What You’ll See on the Dashboard
- The Dashboard presents various performance graphs, including:
- The number of tickets sold (overall sales data).
- Total page views of your event.
- Important Note on Page Views:
- Page views are tracked only when users visit your event page directly via the SimpleTix platform.
- Visits from customers purchasing tickets or interacting with embedded widgets on an external website will not count as page views on the Dashboard.
Clarifications on Deep Links and Data Accuracy
- When you access an event from the Events tab, a dedicated deep link is automatically generated for that event.
There’s no need to manually search for or retain a deep link URL. - In the past, alternative reports, such as distinct sales reports, were available at different URLs.
The current and most reliable method to access overall ticket sales and page views is through the Event Dashboard. - For more granular data on sales or other performance metrics, consider using the Sales Report feature available within the platform (check the latest instructions in the Manager Portal for the correct link).
