General Admission - How to Set Ticket Sales Start and End Date and Time for a Ticket Type

SimpleTix allows you to customize when your ticket sales go live. 

You can also specify when the sale ends. 

For example, does it end when the show starts, when the show ends, or do you stop sales before the event?

1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Use the search bar to locate your event.

4. Once you see your event, click on it to edit.

5. Within the event page, on the left panel, click Times & Tickets.

6. Click on the event time that you'd like to edit.

If you only have one event time for the event, it'll automatically open.

7. Once inside the event time, scroll down to your preferred ticket category and click Settings to the right of it.

8. Scroll down to "When should Ticket Sales Start?" and set your preferred time.

• Immediately - Ticket sales become available as soon as your event is live.
• Schedule a Time - Ticket sales become available on your preferred date and time.

9. After setting your start time, scroll down to "When Should Ticket Sales for This Ticket Type End?" and pick your preferred end time for online sales.

• Start of the Scheduled Event - Ticket sales become unavailable once the event starts.
• End of the Scheduled Event - You'll be able to sell tickets as long as the event has not finished.
• Specific Sales End Time - Ticket sales become unavailable on your preferred date and time.

10. Once done, scroll up and click Save on the top right to finalize your changes.
