SimpleTix allows you to request a photo from your attendees. We automatically send out the requests via email once the tickets are purchased.
You can use this for:
- Flex Pass and Season passes - to prevent sharing
- Or cases where you need people to upload something else like a School ID or COVID vaccination card.
To ask for a photo or selfie:
1. Go to manager.simpletix.com
2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.
3. Under the events list, type in your event's name to search for it.
4. Once you see it on the list, click on it to edit.
5. Once in the event, make sure you're within Event Details on the left panel.
6. Scroll down to "Ask the Buyer to Upload Their Profile Photo?" and choose Yes.
- You have the option to ask for the photo once or allow unlimited times.
- One-time Only means the attendee cannot change the photo after it has been uploaded.
- Unlimited means the attendee can go back to the upload link, remove the photo and add a new one.
7. Once enabled, you'll have the option to edit the message prompting for a selfie.
- This will come included in the purchase confirmation email and eTickets.
8. Once done adding your email message, click Save located to the right of Season Pass Settings.
9. Now go into Ticket Settings
- Here you can select which ticket category requires a photo.
10. Scroll down to your preferred ticket category and click Settings to the right of it.
11. In the Settings panel, scroll down to Require Attendee Selfie Photo and select Yes.
12. Once done, scroll up to the top right and click Save to finalize your changes.
13. After purchase, your attendees will now receive the prompt to upload a photo as seen below.
