General Admission - How to Edit the Ticket Description (with Editor Mode)

SimpleTix allows you to add snippets or descriptions for each of your ticket categories.


This can be in the form of a one-liner or you can have a detailed description of your ticket inclusions. You can even add links or images to it.


To edit the ticket description:


1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Search for your event name.

4. Click on the event to edit.

5. On the left panel, click Times & Tickets.

6. Click on the event time that you'd like to edit.

  • If you only have one event time for the event, it'll automatically open.

7. Once inside the event time, scroll down to your preferred ticket category and click Settings to the right of it.

8. Within the settings panel, go to Ticket Description. 

  • Type in a description for the ticket category.

  • This is ideal for one or 2 sentences.

9. If you have more details to add, enable Editor Mode.

10. This brings up a bigger text box where you can specify detailed inclusions for the ticket.

  • Type in additional information for the ticket type.

11. You also have the option to add hyperlinks leading to your site or promotional images.

12. Once done, scroll up and click Save on the top right to finalize your changes.

13. Your added description will now be visible when purchasing tickets.
