Reserved Seats - How to Create a Multiple Event Time Series

If you need to add several event dates and times that reoccur, SimpleTix allows you to easily create a multiple-event series. This will save you the hassle of having to manually create each and every occurrence. You simply add the dates and times one time, then they're automatically added across the event duration.


To create a multiple event time series:


1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Under the events list, type in your event's name to search for it.

4. Once you see it on the list, click on it to edit.

5. Once in the event, click Times & Tickets on the left panel.

6. On the next screen, click Add Event Time.

7. In the pop-up, click "Need to add recurring dates?"

  • This will let you choose the type of occurrence for the new event times.

8. You will now have several recurring type options.


  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Specific Dates
  • Single Date with Multiple Times


See below to find out which type fits your event best and how to set them up.



Daily


  • This will add all the event times across all days in your chosen date range.
  • This includes both weekdays and weekends.

1. After choosing Daily Specify the Start and End dates for the recurring event. Add the Start Time and End Time.

2. If you'd like more event times to be added to the daily date range, click Add another time.

Weekly


  • This will add event occurrences to selected days.
  • The event days will repeatedly occur during your chosen date range.

2. Specify the Start and End dates for the recurring event. Add the Start Time and End Time.

3. If the event takes place more than one time during the selected days, click Add Another Time.

Specific Dates


  • Choosing specific dates lets you set multiple event dates which are not consistently repeating.
  • You can add multiple dates and times that are independent of one another.

Single Date with Many Event Times


  • This lets you set one date followed by the times your event occurs within that day.

9. Once done adding your dates and times to your chosen recurring option, click Create Times on the bottom right to finalize your changes.

20. You will then be brought back to Times & Tickets screen where you'll see a list of all the added event dates and times.

  • Existing ticket categories and pricing will automatically be synced across your added schedules.
