SimpleTix provides an option for you to freeze or unfreeze seats for your reserved seating event.
This feature works well for tickets that are for special members or that you are not ready to release to the public
To mark seats as on hold:
1. Go to manager.simpletix.com
2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.
3. Under the events list, type in your event's name to search for it.
4. Once you see it on the list, click on it to edit.
5. Once in the event, click Times & Tickets on the left panel.
6. On the next screen, you'll see a list of your event schedules.
Click on the one you'd like to hold seats for.
7. From the top, click Mark Seats on Hold.
8. Make sure you have the correct time and date selected in the drop-down.
- You can also switch to your preferred schedule if you're holding seats for several dates and times.
9. Select the seats you want to place a hold on.
Chosen seats will be marked with an X.
To release, click on the X marked seats again.
10. Click Apply Changes to finalize your hold selection.
IMPORTANT: Please note the message on the top right. "10 Saves remaining until 8 AM"
We only allow a limited number of switches in a day (10 per day). This is done for security reasons, as it is highly suggested that you should first select all the seats prior to freezing or unfreezing them. Please do not try to switch the seats one by one, as there is a limited number of (10) switches available.
11. You're done! Click Back to return to your events page.
