General Admission - How to Enable or Disable Ticket Sales for a Specific Event Time

SimpleTix gives you the option to enable or disable ticket sales for a specific event time.


  • This is useful when just a few of the event times are on hold, but not the entire event.
  • Or if you have changes to the event time details, description or pricing that you want to be applied. 
  • The event time will still be visible on your ticket page but it won't be purchasable till enabled.



To enable or disable ticket sales for a specific event time:


1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Search for your event name.

4. Click on the event to edit.

5. On the left panel, click Times & Tickets.

6. Click on the event time that you'd like to edit.

  • If you only have one event time for the event, it'll automatically open.

7. Go to Ticket Sales Enabled. 

  • Toggle it ON for ticket sales to be enabled. 

  • Toggle it OFF for ticket sales to be disabled.

Toggle it ON for ticket sales to be enabled.
Toggle it OFF for ticket sales to be disabled.



8. Once done, click Save on the top right to finalize your changes.
