Cases where the order's question's answer sets the capacity

Modified on Mon, 11 Sep 2023 at 11:08 AM

Here's a special case where limit the total number of unique orders based on a "per order" question's answers.

So in this example, we can only fit 101 Large Cars in a Parking lot. So once 101 orders are placed that have a large car, we will block further large car owners from being ticket for a given time.
This works in cases where there is a single time or multiple times.

In this case, there was 1 order placed for this event. A buyer with a large car bought tickets for the July 3 time.

How to set this up

To set this up it will require you to first create the "per order" question. (Not an attendee question, it's once per order)

You can set this here:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click Order Form

3. Check - Do ask questions

4. Ask on the checkout page

5. Create just 1 question, that is a list of choices. Create all of the answers.
Note: double-check that you are 100% happy with the answers, once these are set you cannot change them.

Now email: support@SimpleTix

Give us the list of answers and all of the limit of unique of order per answer.

We'll set up the rest within 24 hrs.
