How to Set an Event to Private

SimpleTix allows you to set an event to private. 

  • This means that it won't be visible on your site.
  • It is useful for exclusive events or ones that you're not ready to publicize yet.
  • You can still view and share it via the event link.



To set an event to private:


1. Go to manager.simpletix.com

2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.

3. Search for your event name.

4. Click on the event to edit.

5. Make sure you're in Event Details.

6. Scroll down to Private - Unlisted Event. 

  • You'll see it below Event Status. Toggle it to ON.

7. Scroll up and click on Save to finalize your changes.

  • Your event will now be hidden from your site.
  • You still have the option to share the event URL for private viewing.
