SimpleTix Allows you to specify your event capacity and ticket quantity.
- Event Capacity is the maximum number of attendees that your venue can accommodate.
- Ticket Quantity is the maximum number of slots for a particular ticket category.
Note: You can set the total number of ticket quantity to a number above the event capacity. However, once the sold tickets reach your venue's event capacity, tickets will be marked as sold out.
For example: The event capacity is 20 and you set your two ticket quantities as Ticket A = 20 and Ticket B = 10. If 17 people buy Ticket A, and 3 people buy Ticket B both will be marked as sold out, even though you still have 10 total slots left. This is because the event capacity limits the number of people to 20.
To set the event capacity and ticket quantity:
1. Go to manager.simpletix.com
2. Once logged in, from the top menu click on Events.
3. Search for your event name.
4. Click on the event to edit.
5. On the left panel, click Times & Tickets.
6. Click on the event time that you'd like to edit.
- If you only have one event time for the event, it'll automatically open.
7. Go to Event Capacity and set your limit.
- This is the maximum number of attendees that your venue can accommodate.
8. To set your Ticket Quantity, scroll down to each ticket category and type the limit for each.
- The Ticket Quantity specifies the maximum number of slots for a particular ticket tier.
9. Once done, scroll up and click Save to finalize your changes.
