SimpleTix allows you to create custom questions for your attendees.
Among these custom question types would be ones where your attendee has to select from a list of answers.
Instead of manually adding each answer to an individual field, we have an easy system where you can simply copy and paste them directly.
To import a list of answers:
1. Go to https://manager.simpletix.com
- Use the search bar to find your event, then click on it to edit.
2. Once within the event, click Attendee Questions on the left panel
3. Enable both options for Ask Attendee Questions and Ask for Custom Attendee Questions.
- You can then type a question that requires a list of answers.
4. Set whether your attendees are required to answer the question or if it's optional.
- Click Settings to reveal different question types.
5. Within the drop-down, select List of Choices.
- This is for questions that have fixed answers.
- The answers will appear in list form where your attendees can pick and choose.
6. If you have a long list of answers, we provide a way wherein you can simply copy and paste them instead of adding each one to the text boxes.
- Click Import Your List to bring up the window.
7. Copy and paste your answer list into the text box.
You also have the option to manually type them in.
Press Enter after each answer to separate them in each line.
8. If you've previously typed a list and prefer to use the imported ones, check on Delete All of the Current Answers.
9. Click Import to add the answer list.
10. You'll now see the list of imported answers organized under settings.
- You have the option to rearrange them or edit the text as necessary.
11. Once done, scroll to the top and click on Save to finalize your changes.
