How to Clone an Event

SimpleTix has the ability to clone a previous event. 

This automatically copies details from a prior event so you do not have to re-enter details and upload images. For steps on how to clone an event, see below.



To clone an event:

1. Go to manager.simpletix.com


2. Once logged in, click on Create Event.




3. From the top right, click on Copy from a prior event




4. Choose the name of the event you'd like to copy from the drop-down.




5. Once selected, you'll be prompted on which details you want copied over.

  • Choose the elements you prefer by putting a check on the box to the left then click Continue. 




6. After you've reviewed your new event details, scroll down and click Next to proceed.




7. In the next page, specify the reoccurrence, dates/times and type (general admission, reserved seats or flex pass) you want the new event to be, then click Next.




8. If you've opted for ticket prices to be copied, you'll get a pop-up asking which tickets you want carried over.

  • You can either select all or manually check which ones are appropriate
  • Click Copy Ticket Proces to proceed.




9. You have the option to modify the tickets, fill in the new capacity for the event and when you'd like the sales to start.

  • Click Done to finalize your changes
  • You're all set!
