# Sharing Event Ticket Purchase Links

> Learn how to locate and share links for purchasing tickets to your events using Manager Portal.

# How can I retrieve the link for people to purchase tickets from an event?

## Using the SimpleTix Manager Dashboard

### 1. Log in to your [Manager Portal](https://manager.simpletix.com)

### 2. Navigate to Your Event

* Click on **Events** from the top menu.
* Select the specific event for which you’d like to share the link.

### 3. Open the Event Dashboard

* Click **Dashboard** from the sidebar (or left menu).
* At the top of the Dashboard page you will find the unique link to your event.

# 2. Getting a Shareable QR Code

SimpleTix automatically generates branded QR codes for your events and your main site. There are two ways to access them:

## From the Page Footer

On any page in the Manager Portal, look for the QR code icon (grid button) in the footer:

* **Event QR Code** — On event detail pages, a QR code icon appears next to the event link. Click it to open an **Event QR Code** modal with a downloadable QR code that links directly to that event's ticket purchase page.
* **All Events QR Code** — On the main dashboard and event pages, a QR code icon appears next to your site link (e.g., yoursite.SimpleTix.com). Click it to open an **All Events QR Code** modal with a downloadable QR code that links to your full event listing.

Both modals include a branded QR code with the SimpleTix logo and a **Download QR Code** button to save the image for use on posters, flyers, table cards, or digital promotions.

## From the Social Section

* Log in at [https://manager.simpletix.com](https://manager.simpletix.com) and select your event via **Events**.
* In the left rail, click **Social**.
* Scroll down to locate the automatically generated QR code unique to your event.
* Click **Download** to save the QR code image.

# 3. Advanced Sharing with Affiliate Tracking

If you're working with partners, influencers, or affiliates to promote your event, you can create trackable links that allow you to measure their impact on ticket sales.

    * Log in to [Manager Portal](https://manager.simpletix.com)
    * Click **Marketing** in the top rail
    * Select **Affiliate** from the dropdown menu

  <Step title="Create an Affiliate">
    * Click **+ Create New Affiliate**
    * Enter the affiliate's name and category
    * Optionally associate them with a promo code if you want to offer a discount
    * Click **Create Affiliate**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate Event-Specific Links">
    * Find your affiliate in the list and click the link icon
    * Scroll to the **Get Event Link** section
    * Find your event and click **Copy to Clipboard** for the link or **Download QR Code** for a scannable QR
    * Share these unique links with your partners for their promotional efforts
