# Manage Square Gift Cards Settings

> Learn how to enable or disable Square gift cards in your Manager Portal, along with important limitations and troubleshooting tips.

# Enabling or Disabling Square Gift Cards

1. **Log in to your [Manager Portal](https://manager.simpletix.com).**
   * **Option A:** Direct access – visit [https://manager.simpletix.com/general/order-form](https://manager.simpletix.com/general/order-form)
   * **Option B:** Via Settings – click **Settings** in the top navigation, then select **Order Form** from the left-hand menu.
2. **Within the Order Form settings, toggle the Square Gift Cards option on or off.**

# Important Requirements and Limitations

* **Credit Card Requirement for Fees:**
  * To enable Square Gift Cards, you must have a credit card on file. This ensures that any processing fees incurred during transactions can be charged to the saved credit card.

* **Single Gift Card Per Order:**
  * Only one Square Gift Card may be applied toward an order. Multiple gift cards cannot be combined for a single purchase.

* **Payment Method Combinations:**
  * Combining a Square Gift Card with cash payments is not permitted.
  * For orders paid using both a gift card and a credit card, refunds cannot be issued back to the Square Gift Card; refunds will be returned to the original payment methods where possible.

* **Linked Square Account Requirement:**
  * Gift cards work only for merchants with a linked Square account. (Merchants using Stripe or Auth.net are not compatible.)
