# Creating Season Tickets for Events

> Step-by-step guide on how to create season tickets for General Admission or Reserved seating events using Manager Portal.

# Overview

Creating a General Admission Season Pass allows customers to purchase tickets to multiple events in a single transaction. The steps below will guide you through setting up this convenient multi-event package for your customers.

<Info>
  Season tickets provide one ticket to each event in a series (like baseball season tickets). For unlimited access over a time period, use <a href="/docs/events/flex-pass/flex-pass-setup">Flex Pass</a> instead.
</Info>

## Step 1: Enable Season passes on your account

* Go to [Advanced Options](https://manager.simpletix.com/general/advanced-options) and ensure Enable Custom Registration pages is toggled on. Alternatively navigate to Settings -> Advanced Options

## Step 2: Accessing one of the events you want to add to the Season Tickets

* Log in to [Manager Portal](https://manager.simpletix.com).
* From the main dashboard, navigate to the **Events** section.
* Search for the event you want to create a season ticket for.
* Once you’ve selected your event, look for the “Season Tickets” or “Season Passes” option (this may be nested in your event’s ticketing options).
* *Note:* currently, you can only have season tickets to events at the same venue (and seating chart if reserved seating).

***

## Step 3: Creating Your Season Ticket

* Click **Create New Season Pass**.
* Enter the required details:
  * **Season pass title**
  * **A short teaser or description** that will capture interest
  * **A longer, detailed description** of what the season pass includes
* Choose whether this season pass should appear on your public events page.
* Upload an image that represents the season ticket.
* Customize the call-to-action button text (default “Buy Tickets” can be changed as needed).

***

## Step 4: Defining Season Pass Inclusions

* Decide if the pass grants access to all event times or just one performance per event.
* Select the ticket type(s) to be included (for example, Adult and/or Child tickets).
  * *Important:* If you include multiple ticket types, buyers will receive all tickets set up within the pass.
* For multiple pass options (e.g., separate passes for adults and children), create each season pass individually.

***

## Step 5: Setting Pricing and Sales Settings

* Enter pricing information along with any fees, tax rates, and notices about when sales should end.
* **Billing calculation for season passes:**\
  $2\%$ of the season ticket value + $0.79$ multiplied by the number of tickets included in the season pass.
* Remember that season passes are restricted to events held at the same venue (and seating chart if reserved seating).

***

## Step 6: Additional Considerations

* **General Admission Events:**\
  The above steps will result in an order that gives buyers one ticket per show.
* **Reserved Seating Events:**
  * You must set up the season ticket from the start. Reserved seating tickets require precise seat assignments.
  * This step is crucial to ensure that seating arrangements are handled properly and buyers receive the correct seat assignments.
* Season Passes can only be sold by staff in the Box Office App (not web).
