Part 1: Setting up Prosper on your side

You can download Prosper202 here, to run Prosper202 your host just needs a couple of things:

  • PHP version 5.3 or greater
  • MySQL version 5.5 or greater
  • The mod_rewrite Apache module

Start with the setup page

Store you username and password in a secure place.

Now let's get your special postback url

In the Setup tab, choose #9 the Get Postback

Scroll to the bottom of the page, to get your Prosper postback url. Copy it from the start to the end of .php, exactly like highlighted below.

Now let's save it in SimpleTix

Go to store details tab, choose: Settings, then plugins. On the plugins page choose Analytics, and Prosper202

Now paste your postback url in to the textbox.

So now any link to your site, any page on the site, with the query string value of "subid" will store a cookie on the user's machine for a week. Like this...

Once the order is complete SimpleTix will ping your Propser PostBack url with the SubId and order number and order amount.
